Mohanlal In Hello As Lawyer

Mohanlal and comedy kings- Rafi& Mecartin of Punjabi House, Tenkasi Pattanam fame are coming together for the first time in Hello, for which shooting has commenced in Ottapalam and later it will be shifted to Ootty. Parvathy Melton who did the 'Malabar Gold house' ad with Mohanlal and also a few Telugu films is the heroine. Mohanlal who was in grief following his father's demise, had to postpone the shoot by a week. He had to comfort his mother, who is now living all alone in a huge mansion in Thiruvananthapuram. Says Mohanlal: " I try to comfort her and give her moral support by speaking to her every day atleast four or five! times. That's the only thing I can do, when I'am away on location." In Hello Mohanlal plays a lawyer, Advocate Sivaraman who is drunk most of the time! It is a treat watching Mohanlal do the drunken act. There are very few actors in India who can enact the pathos and comical effects of an inebriated man as well as he does. According to the directors Rafi and Mecartin- "The story is about a man, who due to a personal tragedy becomes an alcoholic. Then he gets a call and the `hello` he hears, changes his life. All this is told in a humorous manner with a sentimental touch". One of the highlights of the film is Jagathy Sreekumar who plays Chandy Kunju, Sivaraman's benefactor and best friend. He moves around in Motor bike with a side car that comes handy to transport Sivaraman, when he gets drunk!
